Scope of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification

All activities of Tricore related to the delivery of proactive IT services, managed services, and the implementation of business software, including all supporting internal processes, personnel, information, information systems, and infrastructure that contribute to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. As defined by management and in accordance with the Statement of Applicability version 4 dated 29/04/2026.


That is why we are proud that Tricore has achieved the ISO/IEC 27001 certification. This certification confirms that we approach information security in a structured, verifiable, and continuous manner.

In addition, we also follow the NIS2 framework through CyFun from the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB). This way, we continue to align our internal operations with Belgian and European expectations regarding cybersecurity.

What does ISO 27001 mean?

ISO/IEC 27001 is the international standard for information security. The standard describes how an organization should establish, maintain, and continuously improve an Information Security Management System, or ISMS.

Specifically, this means that Tricore handles information security in a structured manner. 


It is therefore not about a one-time check or a loose technical measure, but about a lasting process in which safety is embedded in our daily operations.

What does our ISO 27001 certification actually entail?


With our ISO 27001 certification, we demonstrate that Tricore has a formal and controlled management system for information security.

This means, among other things, that we pay attention to:


  • protecting customer data and internal business information
  • limiting and managing security risks
  • clear responsibilities and procedures
  • access management and control of sensitive information
  • incident management and follow-up
  • continuity of our services
  • awareness and training within our organization
  • regular evaluation and improvement of our processes


Our certification was externally assessed. This gives customers, partners, and employees the assurance that our approach is not only supported internally but has also been independently tested.

Our approach to NIS2

In addition to ISO 27001, we also closely monitor developments regarding NIS2.

NIS2 is the European directive that requires organizations in essential and important sectors to raise their cybersecurity level. The directive emphasizes risk management, incident reporting, business continuity, supply chain security, and accountability within management.
At Tricore, we follow the CyFun framework from the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium for this purpose. CyFun provides a practical and structured way to evaluate and further improve cybersecurity measures.

Based on our activities, we classify ourselves within this context as important.
